An engine refers to any device which produces some form of output derived from a given input to the device. This output is often in the form of kinetic energy. There are generally two kinds of engines that are used all over the world. The first kind of engine is called primary mover engines. This kind of engine produces kinetic energy by using a particular power source. The second kind of engine is called a motor engine. This particular kind of engine produces kinetic energy by using some form of preprocessed fuel. This preprocessed fuel may come in the form of electricity, petroleum and compressed air.
