Diesel Engine

A diesel engine is similar to that of a gasoline engine in the sense that it is also an internal combustion engine. The difference between the two, aside from the fact that a diesel engine uses diesel instead of gasoline, is that diesel engine produces kinetic energy by using compression ignition in order to burn the fuel which is used as the source from where the kinetic energy is created from. The diesel fuel is injected into the combustion chamber inside the engine which happens during the final stage of the kinetic energy production cycle. Diesel engines are made using either two or four stroke designs. Diesel engines are commonly used in yachts and military vehicles.
